Temple Halloween Parade 2005
The Youth Group of Christ Church UCC participated in the 2005 Temple Halloween Parade. We built a float based on the Leviathan (a dragon or sea serpent) found in the Old Testament in Isaiah 27:1; Job 3:8, Job 41:1; Psalm 74:14; and Psalm 104:26.
Our Leviathan had light up eyes and smoke coming from its nostriles. The Leviathan had a chain around it's neck held by one of the youth. Our theme was that God can conquer any and all demons in our lives.
We created Leviathan Slayer t-shirts to wear while walking in the parade. The youth also enjoyed the opportunity to hand out candy during the parade.
We had over 24 children and youth participating in building the float and/or walking in the parade.
We are in the process of revising and updating the photos on our web site.
Photos will be added below soon....
