How to Join

     If you are looking for a church to call home, we would be pleased for you to consider Christ Church United Church of Christ.  We look forward to being able to welcome you into the love, support, care, and fellowship of this family of Christ.

     There are a number of paths to membership.  Please let us know where you are in your faith journey, so that we may know which path to membership will be most helpful and beneficial to you.  For each path, you are invited to meet with the Pastor.

     The most common paths are Confirmation, Reaffirmation of Faith, Letter or Transfer, and Profession of Faith.

     Baptism is the first step towards membership.  We recognize the baptisms of other Christian denominations, and if you were already baptized you would not need to be baptized again to join Christ Church.  Click on the following link to learn more about Baptism.

     For those not going through the Confirmation Program, we invite you to participate in either a New Member Class or an Exploring Faith Class, which are offered twice a year.  Persons are encouraged to participate in this class prior to joining, so that you may better know us and know about membership in the UCC and be able to better make an informed decision about joining; however, you do not need to attend the class prior to joining. 

     You are welcome to come and worship as often as you like without needing to join.  Most of our programs and activities are open to members and non-members equally, including that of participating in Holy Communion.
