MDA Lock Up
Pastor Ben annually participates in the MDA's annual Lock Up to help raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Unfortunately he will not be able to participate in the Lock Up this year, as the scheduling conflicts with his sabbatical. However, you can support the MDA through a tax deductible contribution made payable to "Christ Church UCC" with "MDA" written in the memo line and mail it to Christ Church UCC; PO Box 205; Temple, PA 19560. 100% of your "MDA Bail Money" will go to the MDA. Or you can contribute directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Even if our pastor is not behind bars, we hope you will support this important cause this year.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a voluntary health agency consisting of a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans. MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and community services, and far-reaching professional and public health education.
Since 1955, MDA has built bridges and knocked down barriers for youngsters with neuromuscular diseases by providing an unforgettable week at MDA summer camp. Campers say the week they spend at MDA camp is "the best week of the year." Each year MDA supports nearly 90 summer camps across the country. MDA Camp is a magical place where year-round skills are developed and where a child with a disability can just be a kid.
