     The following are links provided, so that you may learn more about the United Church of Christ and our related institutions.  If you cannot find what you are looking for, ask us at Office@ucctemple.org and we will try to provide you with additional information.

     The United Church of Christ Home Page
          The UCC is the denomination to which Christ Church belongs.

     God Is Still Speaking Home Page
          God Is Still Speaking (GISS) is our national evangelism effort.
          It emphasizes that all persons are welcome within the UCC.
          You can watch the UCC television commerical at this site.

     Pennsylvania Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ
          The PSEC is the conference to which Christ Church belongs;
          it is one of 39 UCC conferences, 38 of which are based on geography.

     The Reading Association of the United Church of Christ
          This is the association to which Christ Church belongs;
          it is one of the 7 associations within the PSEC.
          All of the UCC churches within the Reading area are a part of
          the Reading Association.

     Bethany Children's Home
          This is a UCC home for children which began during the Civil War
          to house children who were orphaned during that war.

     Bethany Counseling Ministry
          This is a UCC counseling ministry, which began through the above
          children's home.

     Phoebe Ministries
          Phoebe consists of a number of retirement facilities for seniors.

     Lancaster Theological Seminary
          LTS is the nearest of the seven UCC seminaries, which is the one
          in which we are in covenant to support.  LTS trains clergy and lay persons
          for ministry leadership.

     Mensch Mill Camps
          Mensch Mill is the outdoor ministry of the PSEC for persons of all ages. 

     Evangelical and Reformed Historical Society
          The ERHS keeps the records and history of the Evangelical and Reformed
          Church, which is one of the two major denominations which merged
          to form the United Church of Christ.

     Congregational Christian Historical Society
          The CCHS keeps the records and history of the Congregational-
          Christian Church, which is the other of the two major denominations
          which merged to form the United Church of Christ.

          The UCC responds to a disaster about every 2.5 days.
